If you own an inflatable kayak or an inflatable stand-up paddle board (or inflatable anything) and would like to motorize it, you now have the perfect companion: the DIY Fin Adapter for Inflatables.

For inflatables that don’t have a fin box/plate, you can glue the provided flexible fin plate to the bottom of your vessel using PVC or urethane adhesive glue. Then, using the provided Slide & Lock adapter, you'll be able to easily slide your Bixpy Motor onto your newly installed fin box. 

**This fin box does NOT ship with adhesive, as you will need to select your own adhesive depending on what you will be installing it to. The fin box material is PVC. So if you're gluing to a PVC surface, you can use a PVC-to-PVC adhesive. If you're gluing your fin box to a different type of surface, be sure to conduct some research and use the appropriate adhesive.

Bixpy warrants its hardware products against defects in materials and workmanship as follows:

  • Bixpy J-1, J-2, & K-1 Motors - 1 year 
  • Bixpy Outboard batteries (PP-378 & PP-768) - 1 year
  • Bixpy Power Bank (PP-166 & PP-77) - 2 years
  • All Bixpy Adapters and accessories - 1 year
  • Bixpy lifestyle products - 90 days
  • Bixpy third party items - please contact manufacturers for warranty claims

All warranty periods start from the date of original purchase, provided the purchase was made from an authorized Bixpy Dealer or directly from Bixpy or the Bixpy website. Bixpy warranty does not include damage from accidents and is void if the equipment is opened, altered, misused, mishandled, maladjusted, suffers excessive wear or is serviced by any parties not authorized by Bixpy LLC. Bixpy Jets are made for recreational consumer use and are not warrantied for commercial or rental use. 

The warranty does not include transportation costs incurred because of the need for service. Except for such repair or replacement, the sale, processing or other handling of this Bixpy products is without warranty, condition or other liability even though the defect or loss is caused by negligence or other fault. Bixpy assumes no liability for any accident, injury, death, loss, or other claim related to or resulting from the use of this product whether as a result of a defect or not and whether such defect is covered under warranty or not. In no event shall Bixpy be liable for incidental or consequential damages relating to or resulting from the use of this product or any of its parts. 

As part of warranty servicing, Bixpy reserves the right to make changes in design and improve upon its products without obligation to install these improvements in any of its products previously manufactured and sold. Returns or replacements of parts and/or products may be subject to shipping, handling, replacement and/or restocking fees.

BEFORE you send us anything back, please contact our customer service to discuss your issue and obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). There are limitations on shipping lithium-ion batteries and we will not accept service returns without prior arrangements. Please contact us for details on how to deal with defective products.

You can typically expect your BixpyUSA product to be delivered by Fedex, UPS, or USPS and arrive within 5-7 business days, depending on your location and product availability. See our Shipping Policy for more info.

At openairlifestyles.com, we want your shopping experience to be simple and worry free. If something isn’t quite right, our return and refund process is designed to be clear, fair, and hassle free. 

Occasionally mishaps may occur. We believe all issues can be resolved fairly, if given a chance. If you have any concerns that need corrected, please contact us to discuss and we will work together to resolve them.

Returns:

  • You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns submitted after 30 days.
  • If the item is defective or incorrect, we’ll get the item back and either replace it or issue a refund.
  • Changed your mind, no problem, any returns for unused items in original packaging are accepted within 30 days. You’ll be responsible for the shipping both ways. Once we receive and inspect the returned item and everything is in the same condition as when shipped, we’ll issue a refund for the product (minus any shipping fees).
  • If your item arrives broken, malfunctioning, or with missing parts, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll arrange a return, resend missing parts, or make it right at no cost to you. Please contact us ASAP and provide the order information and any pictures so we can understand what is going on. Once the item is shipped back and inspected, we’ll either send a replacement or issue a refund.
  • Once your return is received and approved, we’ll notify you via email. Refunds are typically issued to your original payment method within 3-4 business days.
    Please note: Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund. If you haven’t received your refund after 7 business days, feel free to contact us at support@openairlifestyles.com.

Restocking Fees:

  • Some returns may be subject to a restocking fee, depending on the product and reason for return. We’ll always inform you in advance if this applies.
