Terms of Warranty At Newport, we will provide the original owner with the manufacturer warranty that covers any defects in material or workmanship. The warranty claim is directed towards the original purchase and is covered by the manufacturer.
How to make a claim? Newport is an online electric motor and inflatable boat brand, meaning we will require a completed warranty claim submission of photos and videos of the damaged parts. More time than most, the damages are minor and simple to repair with the right guidance. Our support team will do our best to tackle the issue at hand and resolve via online support. Newport will not replace any parts/products without seeing photo or video content of the claimed damages and proof of purchase within the warranty coverage. All warranty claims, for parts or service, require a warranty claim form to be completed and an RMA (Return Material Authorization) to be created for return of the original product.
Inflatable Boats - Two Year Limited Warranty, Non-transferrable, restricted to original owner.
- Newport inflatable products are manufactured with treated PVC materials. PVC material by nature (all brands & all models) will begin to break down over time if left out in the elements.
- This warranty does not cover cases where products have been improperly protected against the elements for an extended duration.

- We guarantee that each new inflatable boat and its accessories (hereinafter to be referred to as the “product”) is free from defects in material and workmanship.
- This warranty applies only to defects in material and workmanship, it does not apply to normal wear and tear, or to damage caused by:
- Neglect, abuse, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal or improper use, improper assembly, or failed repair attempts.
- Use of an accessory or part neither manufactured nor sold by us.
- Alteration or removal of parts.
- Commercial use of any kind.
- Improper protection against UV-light.
- Extended or improper exposure to the elements; sun, water, moisture, or humidity.
- Every Newport boat has a useful product life cycle. The length of that useful product's life cycle will vary depending on the maintenance and care the boat receives, the amount and type of use the boat is subject to over its life, and sometimes more importantly how the boat is stored when not in use.

- Small air leaks can and will develop over time, as is the nature of an inflatable product.
- This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential costs or expenses of any kind. Examples of these may include but are not limited to; Haul-out, launching, towing transport storage charges, telephone, rental charges, inconvenience, waste of time, income losses, or any other incidental or consequential damages.
- The customer must provide reasonable access to the product for warranty service by delivering the product for inspection to a dealer authorized by Nepwort to service the purchaser’s product.
- Newport reserves the right to (and may) request detailed photographs and video documentation of all warranty claims. The Customer is required to follow and abide by all warranty claim documentation & processes that are requested by Newport.
- If a purchaser cannot deliver the product to such authorized dealer, the purchaser shall notify the company in writing.
- The purchaser shall pay for all related transport expenses and/or any other expenses associated with that service.
- Any product or part shipped by the purchaser for inspection or repair must be shipped with transportation charges prepaid.
- The obligation of Newport under this warranty shall be limited to repairing a defective part, or at our discretion, replacing such part or parts as shall be necessary to remedy the malfunction resulting from defects in material or workmanship as covered by this warranty.
- We reserve the right to improve the design of any product without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured.
- Each Purchase is entitled to one warranty claim submission and approval, once the claim is processed and approved, the Purchase is no longer eligible for future warranty claims.

The buyer acknowledges that any court action to enforce these warranties shall take place in Marin County in the State of California. This limited warranty is the exclusive and sole warranty for the Sellers products, supplanting all other warranties, whether express or implied, in law or in fact. The Seller explicitly disclaims all other warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use or purpose. Any implied warranties arising from course of dealing, performance, or trade usage are also expressly disclaimed. Newport AGM Lead Acid Batteries Warranty - One Year Limited Warranty, Non-transferrable, restricted to original owner (Non-commercial use)
AGM Lead Acid Batteries by a 1-year warranty from the time of purchase.
- Proof of purchase is required if the item was purchased direct, or through any dealer.
- All Newport Battery products are individually inspected and quality-checked before shipment.
- Should any of our products fail due to any inherent defects in the product itself, we will gladly send replacement parts or fully replace them as covered under our warranty.
- However, some items are not covered and are discussed below.
- Unless another warranty is agreed upon in the Terms of Sale, Newport Battery warrants only to the original purchaser of Newport Batteries product that the product is free of defects in material and workmanship for a period specified below.
- Warranty only applies to orders originating and currently residing in North America, from the date of purchase as indicated on the receipt/invoice.
- This warranty does not cover shipping fees.
- This warranty covers defective products.
- Any defective products will be repaired or replaced with a new product of the same or equivalent model, at Newport's discretion.
- This warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by accidental submerging of the battery in any body of water (lake, stream, pond, or ocean), leaving the battery exposed in the rain, exposure to excessive humidity, exposure to extremely low/high temperatures, overcurrent situations during either charging or discharging of the battery, abuse, neglect, improper use, unauthorized modification or tampering, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, disposal in a fire, freezing, charging the battery while at freezing temperatures (less than 0 deg C or 32 deg F), theft, accidental damage, or other forms of physical damage.
- This warranty shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

You can typically expect your Newport product to be delivered by Fedex, UPS, or USPS and arrive within 7-9 business days, depending on your location and product availability. The Inflatable product will be packaged in a large shipping box. See our Shipping Policy for more info.

Occasionally mishaps may occur. We believe all issues can be resolved fairly, if given a chance. If you have any concerns that need corrected, please contact us to discuss and we will work together to resolve them.
Returns:
- You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns submitted after 30 days.
- If the item is defective or incorrect, we’ll get the item back and either replace it or issue a refund.
- Changed your mind, no problem, any returns for unused items in original packaging are accepted within 30 days. You’ll be responsible for the shipping both ways. Once we receive and inspect the returned item and everything is in the same condition as when shipped, we’ll issue a refund for the product (minus any shipping fees).
- If your item arrives broken, malfunctioning, or with missing parts, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll arrange a return, resend missing parts, or make it right at no cost to you. Please contact us ASAP and provide the order information and any pictures so we can understand what is going on. Once the item is shipped back and inspected, we’ll either send a replacement or issue a refund.
- Once your return is received and approved, we’ll notify you via email. Refunds are typically issued to your original payment method within 3-4 business days.
